I know the question might be little odd, but when I take the Swiss VanLaack black pyjama in Large size, while it is just perfect for me by its width, the sleeves feel much too short.
So I considered taking XL for it, as I suppose the XL's sleeves should be longer, but by the other hand I wouldn't like to sink in sth far too broad. Are XL much more wider than L? Any idea?

Throwing a new thread as Search didn't get me any results on the specific topic :D

Nice looking garment btw, I only regret it is not 100% cotton (and longer sleeves in L :) )

Very true. FA told me this would be my problem and requested that i go for the XL. The pants in the XL - you could fit two of me (or atleast i like to think so) ......

I think they should make the sleeves longer in the L.

Loved LX overall - usually an EK flyer.

So I am not the only one with the "shortage" problem :)
unfortunately it looks XL is not a solution :(

I love LX F too! Generally I like LX nowadays much better than LH also on intraeuropean flights. LH's NEK and 'hand baggage excellence' (why not going further for 'passenger excellence'?) just turn me down.

Hi!
I have the same problem. The sleeves of my XL pyjama are acutually not much longer then the one of the M size (Took this one years before). But XL is really too wide for me - especially the pants.
Hopefully the new pyjamas have longer sleeves :)

So it's true - it's the length, that matters ;)

I guess it's just a matter of being comfortable and not wrinkling our clothes, right? So even though the PJ's sleeves are a bit short, I don't see the huge deal out of it...

You wear your PJ's over your clothes? No wonder some people complain airplanes are too warm.

sure it's not a big deal at all but Y not just being comfortable and having sleeves of proper lenght ? :p
it looks the short-sleeve pjs were around for some time now - so y not ordering the regular ones? Fclass passengers probably dont hide the silver spoons in their sleeves to take it away (obviously there r no silver spoons in f class anymore :))
have guys a good weekend :D !

Do you think long sleeves make it that more comfortable for the time of a flight?

Well, starting the tread I didn't mean complaining, I wanted to get to know about XL sleeves and width....:)
Does proper lenght of sleepwear sleeves make that a difference in comfort?
Well, is there a difference between properly shaped glass and a plastic cup when it comes to the taste of liqour or wine or water?
It's all arguable... I personally feel better in sleepwear with proper or longer sleeves that with too short ones. Not a big deal of course.

Of course no big deal and I agree with you for the plastic cup/glass.

OK, so again I took L sized one. Sleeves a kind of short - but seems that I get used to :)
LX new first on A330 - lovely :)
On the way back I travelled with LH and was pleasantly suprised with their pyjamas' new colors and Van Laack design - white and navy blue, nice change after dull grey ones I had last year.
But LX black one still wins.
Can't only figure out why both LX and LH prefer nylon mixtures over cotton products, which probably most people would prefer.
