What's a reasonably priced group wedding destination? I'm considering St Lucia, Aruba or Bahamas (but am open to other islands). Does anyone have any experiences with flight availability/ flight timeliness...? What about accommodations - all inclusive resorts or private villas for a large group (most don't drink and won't do activities... also meals isnt a factor since all meals will be separate from the hotel's all inclusive options anyways). Any experiences / suggestions with group vacations of about 50 - 75 people that you all would be willing to share? thanks!

I ee your with Hilton. Why not see what hotel Hilton has and work from there. If you can act as the event planner you can get lots of points for being the organizer!

Trying Hiltons is a good idea but my concern is for air travel to the islands. Which island/location has a lot of flight availability in the April timeframe? Since I'm just starting the process, people won't start booking flights until I have everything settled (island, venue, etc) probably around January. I'm trying to figure out which island/location has the best chance for open seats so that the price isn't too high for everyone and so people can book in January and still be okay. Any suggestions are helpful. Thanks.

Booking in January will depend on when the event is. Booking frequent flyer tickets 330 days out gets good availability and open seats, booking a paid ticket 330 days out might be more expensive with eventual time changes.
There are way too many variables.
This might be a very good time to find a travel agent. 50-75 people are enough for the TA to work hard and get some good deals\ and offer invaluable advice.
