Hey there,
Snagged some mile tickets to Cozumel for all the Family (2 Adults + 2 kids) for Late December.
Kids are 8 month and 3.5 yr old.
Looking at the Park Royal as an option though I didn't quite understand if there is a beach beach there (swimming beach).
Other option is Occidental or Iberostar, also All Inclusive.

Will be happy to hear your thoughts.
thanks!

Hi, Not sure about the hotel as I haven't stayed on oz. But we were there for a day and used http://www.toursplaza.com/home to do a tour of the island. I really recommend Gerry. He lives on Cozumel, speaks very good Englis, and will give any type tour you want.

Cozumel is very rocky. With the exception of a few beach clubs (i.e. pay-for-the-day beach entry further south, such as Paradise Beach) or the east side of the island (for which a rental car would be necessary), you won't find much sand, and accordingly, you won't find many beaches. If you're a diver, the diving will more than make up for it. If, on the other hand, the beaches are important because it's a family vacation, I'd recommend you visit Playa del Carmen or Cancun instead. You can take a ferry from Cozumel to Playa (and access the mainland that way) or, perhaps, you might consider switching your award tickets to fly in and out of Cancun.

Yes the Park Royal does have a beach. You must walk under the road to get to it. (it has a pass through under the road.) It small but the snorkeling is good. Enjoy your trip! I wouldn't recommend Cancun for a family.
