Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - 2x Miles - Why? Not that i'm complaining :)

So, fiance' + me booked an ex-CMB I-Class fare to North America: CMB-SIN-LAX-SIN-CMB with travel in October/November.

When i login to the CX website, i see 2x miles in the itin for the SIN-HKG, HKG-LAX and reverse sectors for myself (oddly, not for the CMB-SIN legs).
My fiance's account shows the regular biz class miles.

Wondering why?

Both of us have Singapore as the registered residence with MPC, tickets were booked together (same PNR) via CX's CMB office, charged to my CX-Amex card (and i saw the mileage differential even before i'd paid) - and i couldn't see any promos on CX's Sri Lanka website (and if that were the case, why are the miles for the CMB-SIN legs 'regular').

Does DBS HK Amex Black have anything going on? I got 2x miles for a bunch of flights booked through a TA (and not charged to that card) a cpl of years back, but don't recall registering for anything of late! (i'm living in SGP but still have the HK cards)

Don't ask questions when things get good ;) but really I have no clue.
