Incident: bmi A319 near Amsterdam on Sep 29th 2011, loss of cabin pressure

A bmi Airbus A319-100, registration G-DBCF performing flight BD-845 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Berlin Tegel (Germany), was enroute at FL370 about 30nm northeast of Amsterdam (Netherlands) when the oxygen masks were released due to loss of cabin pressure as result of airconditioning system problems and the crew initiated an emergency descent reaching FL090 within 8 minutes (average sink rate 3500 fpm). The aircraft continued to Berlin Tegel at FL090 and landed safely on runway 26R about 60 minutes after initiating the emergency descent with a delay of 30 minutes.

A replacement Airbus G-DBCH operated the return flight with a delay of 5:15 hours.

The incident aircraft was able to resume service about 14 hours after landing.

Must have been some ride.....
