Why isn't the Door Unlock button somewhere useful, like next to the door? BearX220 Sep 29, 11, 3:33 pm Why isn't the Door Unlock button somewhere useful, like next to the door? Because in an emergency with one member of the flight crew on the other side of the door, you probably don't want the remaining pilot to have to get up from the controls to admit the other guy. The problem is that the button is on the console between the pilots just aft of their hips, so the tendency is to reach back, feel around and hit it rather than look for it. cblaisd Sep 29, 11, 4:07 pm http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/all-nippon-airways-mileage-club/1264303-wsj-wrong-button-sends-ana-jet-nearly-upside-down.html |
