The Thalys is adding new destinations.
Düsseldorf
Duisburg
Essen
Brussels Airport
and they are offering double miles to each destination from Paris, during October.
Also in the news, hi miles reward tickets can now be exchanged online.

You should probably also say that there is only one daily pair of THA trains (Cologne - Essen in the late evening, Essen - Cologne in the early morning) which travel beyond Cologne.

And what about Brussels Airport - where are the trains coming from? Paris? And they end at BRU?

Paris Nord - Brussels Airport is only once a day as well.
depart Paris Nord at 06:25, arrive BRU 08:12
depart BRU at 09:46, arrive Paris Nord 11:35
Wonder whether they have a deal with Brussels Airlines; seems to be targeting the Africa flights of SN.
I just checked. It is actually a code share service with both SN and Jet Airways (who have their mini hub at BRU): http://web.brusselsairlines.com/pdf/ENG.pdf
Hmm.... what would be really nice is to have all Thalys that otherwise terminate in Brussels, operate to/from BRU.
