Finnair Plus - Carryon baggage restrictions as a BAEC Gold on AY?

Hi,

I will be making my AY debut this Saturday, flying from OSL to HEL and back, and I'm planning to fly with carry-on luggage only.

I will be flying in economy, and have BAEC Gold/OW Emerald status.

I see that finnair.com states the following:

Passengers travelling in Business Class; Finnair Plus Platinum, Gold or Silver members; or Finnair Club members: a total of two pieces with a maximum combined weight of 10 kg (22 lb), consisting of one bag with maximum external dimensions of 56x45x25 cm (22x18x10 in.), and one briefcase or laptop computer.

Does anyone know if these rules also apply to OWE card holders, or only to AY's own status members?

I don't think the extra carry-on rule will apply for OW card holders, only AY+ card holders. However AY will honour BAEC /OW status when it comes to checked in luggage, allowing 1 piece more than stated on your ticket.

Compare this to BA, who will not do the same for AY status holders.
