I will be arriving at FCO 8:20 AM on AZ from TLV in economy. I need to wait in the airport for a few hours.
Is there a lounge that I can enter with miles for a few hours? if so how many miles will it cost?

Hi!
If you're a MilleMiglia card or Ulisse card holder, you can purchase a one day pass at the cost of 35euro, purchasable at Alitalia ticket counter at the airport or by calling the Costumer Care number.
Or if you are a SkyTeam Elite Plus card holder, you can enter for free, by showing your international boarding pass :)
Enjoy the nice Alitalia Lounges in Rome.

So I understand it's impossible to enter with miles? I have milemiglia but no status.

The option of paying your entry using miles is not listed in the dedicated page. Let me give you the link

Yes, you can access the Alitalia Lounges in FCO for free when showing an Alitalia or a SkyTeam Business Class boarding pass, arriving from or departing to an International flight :)

I would use the lounge near the D gates (it has showers and it is nice). Enjoy!

Yup, Lounge Borromini :) Nice, quiet, elegant, they also have nice couches you can sleep on.

Similar-but-different question from the OP. I'm a Skyteam Elite+ member so I have access to the AZ lounges.
Arriving on a DL ATL-FCO flight.
A few hours later I'll be taking an AZ FCO-MLA (Schengen) flight which departs T1.
My main concern is showering after the ATL-FCO flight.
Is there more than 1 AZ T1 Schengen-area lounge? Which one has a shower and which one is the nicest (if the nicest doesn't have a shower)? I read in this forum the AF lounge might be a good option too.
Thanks!

Oakshadow, you can use the lounge at D gates (upstairs) which is both nice and with showers :)

AF has no lounges in FCO, they "share" the AZ ones. Anyway my pick would be the same lounge that raistlin suggested : Borromini Lounge by D gates :)

That lounge looks great, but as the Borromini lounge is in T3 and I'm only arriving in T3 on an extra-schengen flight and then connecting to a schengen flight in T1, would I be able to use that lounge? The AZ website just doesn't make this clear.

Borromini lounge is in the Schengen area, near gates D. You will have no issues whatsoever.
