Ok. So I obtained a Hilton Hhonors Amex Express Card. Supposedly on your first purchase, you are suppose to be credited 7,500 points.
Well, I've made my first purchase on 4/10/02. Still No Points. Exactly how long does it take for the points to show up in your account?

I got my card a long time ago. I believe it showed up with my first statement. The main thing is: It did post without having to chase it down whenever it was.

It should post 2-3 business days after the closing date of your first statement.

If you've already gotten a statement, you should probably see the points from that statement and the bonus points already. If you don't see them, call Amex and make sure they didn't open a new HHonors account for you (just ask for the account they are crediting and compare it to yours). That happened to my dad and others have posted similar experiences. If different, give them the correct account and then call HHonors to have them move the points.

Thank you all for your posts. I haven't received my statement for this particular bill, yet. So, I'll wait until my statement comes in and then I'll go from there.
Sincerely,
"Worry Wort"

You don't need to wait to receive your paper statement. You can sign up to view your statement online:

That's pretty much exactly what happened for me.

This is what happened to me. Getting it resolved was painless and took the rep less than 30 seconds to resolve.

I went a few months without it posting. Then I sent an email to HHonors and it posted very promptly--probably within 24 hours.
