Hilton HHonors - Hilton and 1000 airline miles promotion

Has anyone been able to get 1000 airline miles? I have not and also last year with the same promotion, I never got 1000 miles for my Lufthansa account. Hilton Hhonors phone just tells me to wait...

I get 1000 miles with every ordinary stay with my Virgin Atlantic FC card. ( During the double miles promo the 2k miles posted within 2-3 weeks of the stay.

Assuming you're talking about the double miles promo from the first quarter, have your "base" miles posted in your Lufthansa account? In other words, are you missing just the bonus miles? If your base miles posted but the bonus miles did not, I am in the same boat with my AS account. The base miles posted after each stay, but none of the bonus miles posted on their own.

I'm handling this the same way I did last year when my AS bonus miles hadn't posted after the summer promo ended. I call HHonors and ask them to have their AS liaison contact AS about the problem. It helps if the stays you're talking about were 2 or 3 months ago, because then you can reasonably say that the bonus miles should have posted by now. I'm still missing some bonus miles, but will just keep calling every few weeks until they post.

And if you still don't have the bonus miles from last summer, by all means ask HHonors to get this corrected. Hopefully they have a liaison with Lufthansa to handle this for you.

They do not appear unless they do something about it. After three month wait and seven eMail with Hilton I finally got my points after they agreed to have "LH investigate the matter". It took about a week after this eMail for the bonus to show up.

FWIW, all of my double miles in 1st qtr have posted to US. My online booking bonus of 1000 points hadn't posted all year, but a quick email to Kristy Hall took care of that..

This is the response I got from Lufthansa when I queried the missing miles:

Dear Mr Snoopy,

Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately, we cannot credit the bonus miles for our Lufthansa Miles & More Hilton promotion.

Every customer needs to register for Miles & More promotions either via fax, phone or online within the specific time period. A careful check in your Miles & More account proved that you did not register for the above-mentioned promotion. This means you did not comply with the conditions. Therefore, we cannot credit any extra miles to your account.

Please don't be too disappointed =96 the next promotion is just around the corner.
