Flyertalkers... greetings from GOT..

Need some help on routing and prices to SYD.. Will be traveling from GOT-SYD the week after Christmas . 2 adults and 2 children under 2 years old..There are some many routings one can take..I have no preference on how to get there or how many stops..just concern about price..Staying in Australia until March 2012..But would like to go thru BKK and stay in BKK for 1 month before heading back to GOT..
Any advice on routing and prices ? I tried and use expertflyer and KVS tool but very confusing...

Help..
Thanks

Prices go up a lot in the 2nd half of December, so if you are able to travel a week earlier it may drop the price by 20-30%. Also, the lowest fares have stay limitations, as short as 30 days and almost always less than 3 months; similarly for the BKK stopover, it is likely to cost an extra few hundred dollars (unless you fly on TG). You might find that a RTW fare product like LONE4 is cheaper for your travel dates, if you can find seat availability (in L class) for all 4 pax. Good luck, but be aware that your dates are probably increasing the fare substantially on all airlines.

I would say do CPH-BKK-SYD on TG if you can and you can drive from GOT. Of course it depends on the flight prices. But at least you can stopover at BKK.

If you have *A miles you can also redeem the route on award as TG generally have good seat availability on J/F class (not Y though), even on Xmas and New Year.
