Asiana Club - First ever experience Asiana

I will be breaking my cherry with Asiana next week, just a short hop ICN MNL.
I hear rumours of good things with this operator.

Any suggested do's or don'ts, tips to make the experience more enjoyable?

It certainly won't give you the full experience like cross continental, but

- enjoy the lounge, and if you are just coming into ICN, remember Asiana business lounge has shower rooms for ya.

- stare at hot stewardess.


other than that, its so short, i don't know what you would get that would standout compare to other airlines.

There are usually 1-2 old movies on the IFE. Not always easy to figure out how to use the IFE though. :(
You will get cheese and crackers and fruit after the main meal service.
Cologne and toothbrushes are in the bathrooms.
Blankets are nice.
Usually will give you a bottle of water after meal service. Take it bc any drinks you order are quickly cleared once you set them down. :(
No OZ lounge in MNL, but there is TG, SQ, and they give you a pass to the contract lounge.
Morning flight from ICN arrives with several others, so if you can rush to immigration quickly, that can help. Late night flight is tiring. :(

I forgot to mention that sometimes there is an equipment change. I've flown the 747 (3 class config.) before on this route. If it's a 747 make sure you ask for a seat in rows 1-4 as you will be in first (business food). When it happened to me twice, both times "first" was not full. Go figure. :)
