Washington D.C. (including Baltimore) - DCA connection USAir-AA and AA-USAir?

I'm not familiar with DCA. Do I have to leave the secure area and re-enter thru TSA if I change terminals?

The USAir flight is on CRJ via Wisconsin or Express Air. Does anyone know which terminal these regional jets fly out of?

And, as I'm connecting to AA flights, also Eagle/CRJ's, any idea of which terminal these flights use?

thanks for any insights.

Some of USAir's flights go out of the same concourse that AA uses (both mainline and Eagle). If you come into the other USAir concourse there is a shuttle bus that will take you to other (AA) concourse without leaving Security. In the concourse that AA uses, IIRC its gate 25 where the shuttle bus departs/arrives. Very easy to use.

Since this question is more about navigating the DCA airport, we'll shift this over to the Washington DC forum. Thanks! :) /JY1024, AA forum co-moderator

the shuttle leaves on 5-10 min intervals.
no ff miles for the trip.
the shuttle is run by us air.

one must go down a set of steps, and back up a set of steps for the transfer. you must carry your own luggage.

if the tsa line to concourse C is really backed up, check out B, go through B, and take the shuttle.

It's easy to use, but one caution is that US operates the shuttle bus between B&C for its pax. Once the last US flight has departed/arrived at one of its B gates, the shuttle bus stops for the night. There are no restrictions on your use to connect with AA, simply that if your AA flight is a late one, it's worth checking.
