So I've got a little offer on my Total Rewards Card for some discounted rates at Harrahs properties this December Dec 7- Dec 12

I guess what I'm asking is for a specific comparision of the room type at these hotels..if anyone happens to be so well-versed on them I'd like to find the best fit for our vacation.

I see a classic room @ Caesars for $515(incl taxes) for 5 nights or a Roman Tower room ($544 incl taxes)

I also see a Go room @ flamingo ($378 incl taxes)
A hollywood hip room @ Planet Hollywood ($419 incl taxes)
and then a luxury room @ Paris ($392 incl taxes)

i also looked @ MGM but they were way overpriced even with the mycheapvegas codes coming in at almost $700 including taxes
I've been to Vegas many times before, this time I'll be rooming with a lady friend (nothing super romantic though) and meeting up with a group of friends for the Jayz/Kanye West concert in town.

We are 25 so I've heard PH is definitely a place that caters to young folks and they have a good club..but then again Flamingo is in a better location so I'm a bit torn. I dont think we'd be able to take much advantage of the Flamingo pool in Dec so that may be a non-factor. I've also been to Pure nightclub @ Caesars and enjoyed it also.

thank in advance

Just thinking out loud, the PH deal looks like the best to me if room value is your main metric. Even though it is a favorite with the cheapos, I would avoid the Flamingo at all costs since there is such a high variation in the quality of rooms.

That said, I would book the roman tower room since the marginal cost over the PH rate is very low.

I don't know the Roman Tower at Caesars, but I would avoid any of the older towers/rooms there.

Of your options -- given your age and the time of year -- I would go with PH.

I agree the PH room will be the best.

The GO rooms at Flamingo aren't bad (their other rooms not so good), but the PH definately has a younger/hipper crowd. I just don't care for staying at Caesar's (although I do like to go there once-twice a trip).

Both Flamingo and PH are excellent hotels, but really depends what you want to do. If you want to do clubbing and stuff like that, I'd go with PH just cause it's close to Marquee at the Cosmo and Chateau next door. Marquee is a must.

If you care about costs and stuff, then I'd go with Flamingo. Or if you like cheap, rowdy gambling around the Flamingo area at Bills, Oshea's, Casino Royale, then I'd definitely go for a GO Room.

Either hotels are excellent options and you can't go wrong with either.

You might want to see what rooms are going for on Priceline on those dates. I suspect that with some research, you could pull either the Palms or Planet Hollywood for noticeably less than $400 for those 5 days.

Of the choices, I would also recommend PHo. Decent rooms and excellent location. As previously suggested, Priceline and hotwire may be worth looking at, as well.
