Hi there,
I am looking for a few people who can hopefully confirm that our trip planning is done and that it is actually doable :)
09.10. Arriving in SCL on Sat. 8:50am
12.10 SCL - CJC (Calama) 7:50am departure. Car rental done through National Car. Should we switch to someone else? What companies are located in the airport?
15.10 Originally CJC - ARI (Arica). Flight cancelled. Now we have to take an overnight bus.
16.10 Pick-up car in Arica and drive to Putre
19.10 Drive from Putre to drop the car off in Arica and take a taxi to cross the border into Peru to take a flight with Peruvian Airlines to LIM (Lima) from Tacna, which leaves at 1:10pm!!! (Is that enough time)
20.10 LIM - CUS. Arriving at 1pm, then take a taxi to Ollanta and the train at 7pm
21.10 Back with the last train to Ollanta
22.10 taxi to CUS Airport to catch a flight at 4pm to LIM.
23.10 LIM - GYE
24.10 GYE - GPS (Galapagos)
29.10 Leave Isabela Island with the 6am boat to catch a flight at 1pm to GYE
29.10 9pm flight back to Europe from GYE
Looking for any advice and recommendations. Everything is booked(!) but we still have room to change here and there. Any advice or recommendations. Is the planning too tight? I realize we cannot see everything in 3 weeks. I am interested in your comments.
