EL AL Matmid - How to book P class?

Expertflyer is showing "P" Class (first) available on Jan. 9, TLV - EWR. I'm calling AA to book this via my Advantage miles and they cannot confirm availability. I know that LY does not sell First on certain flights, but then what exactly does "P" class represent.

The date is a Sunday night - can anyone give me some insight as to the chance of award seats opening on either of the midnight flights to EWR/JFK?

P class is the First Class redemption on LY. I see it as being open with 2 seats available on EF.

Very simple - you cannot book F using AA miles. The only way to book First Class on EL AL is to pay cash or use Matmid points. Sorry

Which, if any, of El Al's partners offer one way first class rewards on LY? I would ideally like to find a way to transfer AMEX or UR points to one of these programs and then book the LY First ticket.

You can transfer AMEX directly to EL AL but it's a fortune of miles

Could one book C using AA miles, and then pay a buy-up fee to F?

Unfortunately, C is not available for the dates I need. I would prefer C, but only P (F) is available for the dates needed.

While I wouldn't bet my life on it, I'm almost positive that the only way to book F on EL AL is money or Matmid points.
