The weekly specials email sent to you earlier today contained an error. The Last Minute Specials rates were incorrectly labeled as "Weekly" rates instead of "Weekend" rates. The error has been corrected in the email below. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Indeed. At noon ET, the columns in the "Last Minute Specials" chart were headed:
"Location | Car Type | Weekly"
...with the prices down the right-hand column ranging from $12 - $35. Interestingly, in the panel ad right beside it in the initial and corrected versions, it said "Weekend rentals from $20 a day," when the chart has them from $12, and drilling finds them from $10 at several stations around the country.
Anyway... Anyone notice this "mistake fare" and intend to make something of it?
