I redeemed a 40 euro voucher using my points earlier and had tried to use it for my hotel stay in June. However, I was later told by the receptionist that I could not use the voucher as I had paid a prepaid rate. Fair enough. But the receptionist had credited my voucher already before he realized that. Since then, nobody has been able to successfully reverse the voucher credit so I can re-use it again for another stay.
Calls to the A-Club help desk were unfruitful as staff say only the hotel can access the system to reverse the voucher for me. There wasn't anything they can do. But the hotel has yet to be able to accomplish this for me ... 3 months later.
Anyone else experienced this problem before and what was the solution?
