Sounds like the usual offer except for the 25,000 points after $10,000. I hope I get that!

Can't two HHonors points be converted to one AA mile?

I have the card, and it's a pretty sweet deal. However, the $10K for 25KHH seems a bit much when you can get for the Delta Gold card from American Express for no annual fee for one year (go to Delta's website--it's a new promotion if you are a Skymiles member)and receive 10K Delta skymiles with your first purchase (any amount) that can be exchanged for 20K HH points. I received the Delta card, spent 5 dollars, will get 10K miles, transfer, and cancel the card. That's alot cheaper than spending $10K for HH points.

Yes in many ways you are right BUT:

1) I already have the delta card
2) It's not really 25,000 bonus points... add 7,500 + 3 points for every $ so in reality you get 62,500 for spending the $10,000

Now what da ya think about those marbles?

I like those marbles, but ....

I called AMEX and they told me that the only promo that they know about is the 7500 bonus points for signup plus the 2500 bonus points for the first $2,500 spent on the card. (Received this offer as an insert in my most recent statement.)

Can't find the 25K bonus offer anywhere!

Nope. Here are conversion rates for HH --&gt; AA:

10,000 HH points --&gt; 2,000 AA miles
20,000 HH points --&gt; 4,000 AA miles
50,000 HH points --&gt; 12,000 AA miles

I got the same offer, except they're offering me 10,000 bonus points if I spend $5,000 w/in 6 months.

I wonder how they targeted this one. I've paid $135 for the Delta Platinum AMEX for a few years now, and spend about $50k per year.
