just got back from Vegas and when I checked my acct I got 1500 miles total(500 X 3).
1-double dip=500
2-double miles=500
3-Q1 2X miles=500

what I dont understand is why I didnt get it for a stay HGI in Flagstaff on Mon,only for LV stays 2 different non-successive nights(same week), still awaiting credit for last night at the Flamingo, the other 2 were at Ballys.Maybe it was a LV thing or Ballys but I didnt see it mentioned anywhere. Its a nice bonus.

spoke w/HH they knew nothing about it.Just got off the Ballys site seems they have a special w/AA that gives an extra 500 miles per stay bet 2/24 & 5/25. That deal showed a rate of $75 per night I got a rate of $59 and guess I got the extra 500 since I gave AA as my airline for HH credit.( the deal gave a 2 for 1 deal to jubliee that was easy to get $20 for and I stayed with the person till they got the tkts since I needed to sign the coupon, so it made the stay be $39.

just checked with HH on-line seems I got 1500 miles also for the stay at the Flamingo on 3/13, again didnt make a res with the AA deal if any. So it seems that at least at Ballys and Flamingo if you use AA as your carrier expect 1500 miles per stay.(that gave me an extra 1500, had 3 different stays in LV last week plus an extra 1000 miles from AA for having 4 stays in their promo dont remember it had to sign up do a search in Hilton and youll find it)

I believe you can get points at the ParkPlace hotels. Ballys, Las Vegas Hilton , Flamingo Hilton and Paris. I never heard of anyone receiving points at Caesar's though.

Regarding points at the Flamingo - I will be staying there next week and e-mailed the property directly to find out whether I would get points or any other upgrades/amenities. They e-mailed me back and said that I would get points and the only other thing they offer Diamond members is free spa usage. Breakfast and upgrades are not available. Again, this is from the hotel directly.

I stayed at the Flamingo on Weds night. GREAT gym/spa only wish they had a cross trainer like Ballys does.IMHO its the best gym between Ballys/Hilton/or Flamingo( dont know about Paris since its private no free use).
as for upgrades I was booked in at the low rate of $55 and checking in at the airport got me a mini-suite,nice size room but you needed a golf cart to get to it, last room of the north wind, went down and got the 28th floor instead an exec room much much better.

I believe earlier this year there was an AA rate plan for Paris LV that gave double AA miles. With the double miles promotion it became 1500 miles. I do not know what airline you get miles for, what property or what rate plan you used.

I stayed at the LV Hilton last night. No upgrade with the Gold card, but there was a large convention going on, so maybe others more VIP than I got the upgrades. I have recieved an upgrade in the past, but not this time.

The room was comped, so I doubt if I will get any HHonors points other than a small restaurant charge. They took the HHonors# and the FF# (AA) anyway.

Th best thing was the free continental breakfast. I had to ask for it at check-in. It was not automatic. The desk clerk fiddled with the computer, and sure enough, the next morning it was free. It was only one breakfast, not two, but it was generous enough to share. Good deal, good danish. RS menu price was $10.95. I put a $3 tip on the check, and the total charge was $3.

Also excellent: The Fab Four show - a tribute to the Beatles. Wonderful. If you have a chance, go. 2 for 1 coupon in the Park Place Connection booklet they give you at check-in, or free with certain internet or VIP offers.
