Hi I booked two rooms at Southamoton Novotel for three nights. I only got credit points for one room (looks like at the 2points : 1 euro rate). I thought you could get credit for two rooms?
Le Club Accorhotels - Can I get credit for two rooms?View Full Version : Can I get credit for two rooms? ade99 Sep 11, 11, 3:20 am Hi I booked two rooms at Southamoton Novotel for three nights. I thought you could get credit for two rooms? starflyergold Sep 12, 11, 2:29 am You shoudl get points for two rooms, if you booked them in your name and paid for them together. hamallu Mar 5, 13, 6:09 am Sorry for pulling up an old thread but couldn't find a similar thread topic going on so better revive this than start a new one. I stayed at the Pullman St. Pancras and had 2 rooms under my name but was not credited both rooms. I chased Le Club and was given this reply: Dear Mr. Hamallu, Thank you for sending the invoice for your stay at the hotel Pullman London St.Pancras from xxx to xxx. We are pleased to confirm that your points have indeed been recorded on your account. We would like to remind you that, as mentioned in our general terms and conditions, only the cardholder's individual and personal expenses are taken into account for points credit. You may benefit from points for up to two rooms, on the condition that you stay in one of the mentioned rooms and that the second room is reserved and occupied by at least one of your children accompanying you for the stay. As a result, the expenses concerning the second room were deducted from the total amount of your invoice. Best regards, Peter Travis Your Le Club Accorhotels Team Didn't realise there was this clause and the second room was occupied by my parents. Anyone know if there's a way I could get the points of the second room credited? starflyergold Mar 5, 13, 7:07 am Sorry for pulling up an old thread but couldn't find a similar thread topic going on so better revive this than start a new one. Anyone know if there's a way I could get the points of the second room credited? Intially I was going to say that this is plainly wrong because it I got points for second rooms before. However, when I checked the T&Cs the language appears to have been changed: 7.4.4. Expenditure eligible for earning Points on expenses Eligible expenses include: – accommodation expenses for the Member or Cardholder and one other room (i.e. a maximum total of 2 billed rooms), on condition that the aforesaid rooms are recorded in the Member or Cardholder's name, that the Member or Cardholder stays in one of the aforesaid rooms, that the second room is occupied by at least one of his/her children and that he/she personally pays the costs related to these two rooms upon departure; Now I cannot imagine why Accor would introduce such nonsense. My relationship with the occupier of the second room is none of Accor's business. Accor Concierge, maybe this could be clarfied urgently as I may have to revisit some of my forward looking business and take it elsewhere. hamallu Mar 5, 13, 2:26 pm Now I cannot imagine why Accor would introduce such nonsense. My relationship with the occupier of the second room is none of Accor's business. Ditto on that mate, I paid for those two rooms and it doesn't matter who occupies them as long as they are under my name in the booking and paid for solely by me. SouthWesterner Mar 6, 13, 11:35 am Ditto on that mate, I paid for those two rooms and it doesn't matter who occupies them as long as they are under my name in the booking and paid for solely by me. I agree - this is ridiculous. I received credit for two rooms booked at the Pullman St. Pancras back in December. The other room was occupied by a friend. If this new policy stands, I will also have to take a lot of my business elsewhere. starflyergold Mar 9, 13, 5:45 am Just to let you know I have been in touch with Accor HQ on this and asked for follow. I got the feeling they realised how nonsensical this new requirement is. I will post any further news here. hamallu Mar 26, 13, 3:45 am Just to let you know I have been in touch with Accor HQ on this and asked for follow. Are there any updates from Accor regarding this issue? sch7458 Mar 27, 13, 8:12 pm Forget Accor. The last advantage: Iberian Avios Transfer was shrunk from 3000/7500 to 1000/1000. If you just need good 'coverage' try PC. ade99 Apr 19, 13, 3:23 pm It does seem unfair. My partner and I have no children, but when I book two rooms for us and my partners parents I only get credit for one room, if my partners parents made the booking then they would get credit for both rooms. Go figure? |
