First trip in TX, picked up Thrifty at DAL and drop at SAT in July. I just got a note from Thrifty that there was a toll charge of $.93 cents and an admisitrative charge of $25.00! Where in my drive could I have missed a $.93 toll? Any hints, before I call, on getting the $25 waived? BTW, the letter says see enclosed and nothing was enclosed, and they have charge my CC $25.93... Thanks

Two places for tolls:
If you headed east from DAL and got on the Dallas North Tollway to head south you could have been dinged. If you made a right out of DAL and went to I-35, you did not encounter a toll area.
There is also the JJ Pickle (130) tollway that bypasses Austin.
Those are the only two possibilities unless you stopped in Austin and encountered 183A, Loop 1 or 45 North.
If you took I-35 the whole way you did not hit them.
You may want to make sure you were occupant of the car when the violation occurred. See if there is a delta between when the violation occurred and when it was reported. The Thrifty clerk could have matched the wrong date/time combination.
Their willingness to waive the fee will depend on your status with them. A regular renter (Blue Chip) will have a better shot.
Good Luck!
