So I am an ST E+ booked in U (award economy) on KE.
I see on the seatmap on delta.com (it shows accurate KE seatmap and occupied/free seats, just doesn't save the seat selection), on expedia.com, etc., that there are a lot of seats available up front.
But, when I go to chat w/ KE, they say that the first row where they have an aisle seat available is 49, though I see lots starting from 33 (33, 34, 35, 36, and so on).
Is it that KE does not release seating closer to front for anyone else but their own FF members? Or it does not let award pax to sit closer to front? Which way is it? (just curious)
It seems that KE likes to put ST E+s way at the back. Is it always no matter what type of ticket, or only so for award tickets?
Really, no better seating as an ST E+ w/ KE on a U class ticket?
