I have noticed that you need to have miles in your account in order to search for awards on partner airlines... is that true? What is the minimum number of miles you need to activate the search capability? Thanks.

i noticed it when i tried to search *A award availability, because
i have zero miles on NH (all miles with NH go to my UA account).

None! There are ways around it.

I got 100 miles from the recent survey and no longer need the workarounds.

OK do tell...

google search and there are tons of threads on the different workarounds (manual or automated), on this forum and elsewhere.

is there a way to search for award travel on A* without looking one day at a time?
