Virgin Australia Velocity - Adding Velocity number to SQ booksings

I just tried to add my velocity number to an SQ booking on the SQ website. They don't list Velocity, VA or DJ as an eligible partner in their pull down. Am I missing something?

SQ is still to come, they have announced they will be partners, but it has not started yet.

not an option at this stage.Do you have a Krisflyer or a Mileage Plus or a Thai Royal Orchid Plus membership at this time because they are for now the only ways one can currently earn points/mileage on SQ.

Just wondering: does Velocity mileage and credit earning follow the metal like *A or the marketer like OW and ST?

So, for instance, if I booked the VS codeshares on SQ from LHR to PER, would that be VS's paltry Velocity earnings, or nothing ala SQ "coming soon"?

IME it follows the marketing airline. VA codeshares on EY metal earn as if they were VA flights.
