Hello,

I am taking Turkish flight from Istanbul to Delhi which arrives in Delhi at 4.10am. I am thinking to book an AirIndia domestic flight from Delhi to Hyd which leaves Delhi at 6.40am.

That means, I will have 2.30 hrs time to catch the domestic flight (by completing immigration check, baggage pickup, transfer to domestic departures, check-in, security screening, boarding) Is that 2.30 hrs enough for all these or will I need to be rushed ?

(these kind of scenario was not discussed in any old threads, I have checked all the pointers given by Keyser in http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/india/1245415-transfer-del.html)

Thanks!

At that time of the day, you'll probably have more than enough time to make the transfer. However, keep in mind that if you buy different tickets, your luggage won't be interlined. In other words, if your bags are delayed, they will not be forwarded to the next destination (HYD).

actually a lot of airlines are pretty good with this....i've been in a couple of occasions where the airline has sent my luggage to my final destination, even though i was on different pnrs....
