SkyTeam - Vietnam lounge access

So I am 60% sure of the answer but does their gold level grant access anywhere?

in other words If I fly 30k on any partners and get their gold level, would I be able to access DL lounges in the US when travelling internationally ?

The answer is very clear on their website: Gold is only ST elite (and not elite +) and therefore does not give lounge access with ST partners.
You do get lounge access when flying on VN-operated flights as well as some Asian partners (as long as booked under a VN code) but not ST partners.
