Hello,
I have a question regarding a situation on a TIV-BEG-CDG travel with Jat Airways.
My TIV-BEG segment got delayed for several hours (>3hrs), which made me miss my connection in BEG to CDG. The afternoon flight for CDG was full and Jat Airways offered me in the begining to rebook me on OK flights (BEG-PRG-CDG) the day after (without hotel/meal compensation !), but after arguing a bit, they finally rebooked me on AZ flights (BEG-FCO-CDG).
I ended up landing in CDG around 23h57 instead of 12h40, and I was wondering what kind of compensation I can get from Jat Airways.
I understand that EU261/2004 compensation is not applicable as :
- Jat Airways is not an airline based in a State member of EU (Serbia) ;
- the travel starts from Montenegro/Serbia which not a State member of EU.
Is there anything I can do to get some compensation ?
Thanks in advance for your help. Brgds,
