Hi all,
I'm wondering why the majority of Skyteam airlines flying into PEK doesn't operate out of T3 despite having some future member airlines operating out of there, and now that T3D will reopen for international flights in the future, I'm also wondering if Skyteam can exclusively use it since the SA/OW members are already hogging T3E. Any thoughts or opinions?

China Southern's hub in PEK is centered around Terminal 2, and with SkyTeam increasingly placing a premium on colocation, I won't be surprised if the move will end up being in the other direction: from T3 to T2, rather than from T2 to T3.
I'd appreciate a move though from T2 to T3: the terminal is very, very nice! ^
Only future ST carrier out of T3 is CI, it will probably move to T2 once it joins ST. Many people prefer the smaller T2 since it takes less time to get to your gate than T3. If there is any move in the future, it'd be ST moving to the new Beijing South Airport.

The new airport will have the capacity to handle 400 million passengers/year and 9 runways, it will be quite the ultimate project. Amazing!

No way, it will happen! The ST people I know are quite happy being in T2 in both Beijing and Shanghai.
OP, I suppose you like LHR T5, MAD T4 and others like it...........No serious FF'ers do, but many normal people love them........see a coincidence?
