As happens with almost ALL Hawaiian aircraft flying to West Coast cities.

Yes, the aircraft will sit for overnight. I think they have enough gate space available. They will parked at gate 3 or 4. I think they should be just fine.

Isn't that flight often delayed enough to become a morning departure :D

Is anyone aware that to make the Oakland flight go everyday and the San Jose flight to go 1/2 time PDX-OGG is being discontinued? Well it is and it's a darn shame really.

Be careful about those Alaska flights. They begin service with 160 or so seats on a 737 and a Hawaiian 767 has what, 260 or so. So in the end we end up with 260 or so less seats a day. It's just a matter of time before Alaska jacks the fares up on us.

Considering that HA needs an aircraft (or two) for its Oakland Raiders and Seattle Seahawks charter flights, it's unlikely to sit overnight much during football season...;)

Now, now... That flight is on-time, since there are no other carriers flying in the same airspace at that time... :D

if you live in Portland, I suppose. Oh wait, you do live in Portland.

Well, you can still fly to Munich or Frankfurt, right? (or did they get rid of those also?)

My daughter took the HA PDX-OGG flight one time a year or two ago. It was convenient for that one trip, since it was a n/s.

Actually, LH has been discontinuation service PDX-FRA due to poor performers. That is why LH is no longer service. They didn't workout very well. It was very, vey short time LH has served to PDX.
