Does anyone know of any rental company that doesn't charge a HUGE one way drop off fee?

I'm heading to Hilo for business, but want to depart Kona and am having a difficult time finding a reasonable way to do this in a rental.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Try Avis AWD A0748000

$34/day and no drop fee

I heard a rumor that Alamo has no dropoff fee. According to the local office @ ITO, "sometimes yes sometimes no, you can try the rez online...or... call the 800 # and ask".

Use Aloharents.com. I did it for an upcoming trip in November and got very reasonable rates.

If you book through Alamo utilizing your Costco discount code(675899)...there is no Drop-off fee. You also get 1 free additional driver, plus good pricing.

We are looking to fly into ITO on Nov 18 and leave out of KOA on Nov 25.

Any recommendations if we want to get a small SUV cheaply?

Thanks

Similarly, I've used http://www.DiscountHawaiiCarRental.com and was quite pleased. I got a ITO-KOA rental for $38 all-in for a compact car in January 2010.
