Italy - Gardaland

I'm planning a trip to Italy next summer. We'll be stopping in Lake Como and I'm considering a stop at Lake Garda and Gardaland. Does anyone have any experience with this theme park? Will my 15-year-old son enjoy it? Is it worth a stop?

If the 15 year old likes amusement parks, then Gardaland is worth a stop. The rides/atmosphere are more like those one finds at Six Flags, as opposed to Disney or Universal parks.

If I recall correctly Gardaland used to be owned by six flags. When we went, it was fairly interesting; worth a day (or part of one) if your 15 year old likes amusement parks. I'd ask him to look it up online and see if he'd want to go.
