I love Macoys MAN CRISPS Salt n Vinegar. gfunkdave Sep 4, 11, 2:06 pm Kettle Chips salt and vinegar Or Canadian Ketchup flavor Or the Costco store brand regular ones. Babaduck Sep 4, 11, 3:15 pm An Irish brand called O'Donnell's Crisps (http://www.odonnellscrisps.com/). Just two flavours & they're utterly addictive. We can't keep them in the house! braslvr Sep 4, 11, 4:15 pm Any of several brands of kettle style chips, plain salted. I'm not overly fond of Kettle Chips brand though. Too oily to the point there is often a puddle in the bottom of the bag. CubsFanJohn Sep 4, 11, 4:49 pm Regular Baked Lays. Walker's Crisps. Just about any Tortilla Chip. NYCFlyGirl Sep 4, 11, 8:24 pm They're no longer available, but I loved the Walkers Chicken Tikka Masala (http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/food/walkers-chicken-tikka-masala-flavour-crisps/). Otherwise, I like Ruffles (plain or sour cream and onion). wdogg Sep 5, 11, 9:44 pm original salted kettle chips from fresh & easy. they're not overly greasy like the Kettle Chips brand chips. element7 Sep 5, 11, 10:33 pm I just usually buy pringles since they are so easy to store and taste pretty good. (I've been eating them since childhood too which definitely played role in me still buying them) hedur Sep 5, 11, 11:04 pm Kettle Sea Salt and balsamic vinegar. I found them in Scotland about four years ago and ate them almost daily while I was there. Have yet to see them in a grocers in the states. :td: BadgerBoi Sep 5, 11, 11:27 pm Arnott's Thins chicken flavoured. Their Light and Tangy flavour are a close second. Lousie Sep 6, 11, 6:57 am Salt and Vinegar. Most types. Seem to be a lot of love for S&V kettle Chips on here but I find they don't have enough flavour. A good quality crisp though. Seabrook S&V are amazing. Pringles just brought out a 'posh' S&V flavour that was very nice. I like the regular ones too but I find it's too hit and miss with how much flavour will actually be on the crisps. If you can't tell, I like a lot of flavour on my salt and vinegar crisps! PK777 Sep 6, 11, 3:28 pm They're no longer available, but I loved the Walkers Chicken Tikka Masala (http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/food/walkers-chicken-tikka-masala-flavour-crisps/). Otherwise, I like Ruffles (plain or sour cream and onion). Oh I remember them! They were yum! ^ pseudoswede Sep 6, 11, 3:47 pm Another vote for the Costco sea salt Kettle Chips. ShopAround Sep 6, 11, 8:17 pm I love prawn cocktail Pringles - wish I could get them here in the U.S. Weean Sep 7, 11, 8:23 am Salt and black pepper. I can't understand why it's a 'niche' flavour, much nicer than salt and vinegar. zookeeper Sep 7, 11, 8:37 am Zapp's Cajun Crawtators...yum! Kettle jalapeno are also really good. tonerman Sep 7, 11, 9:38 am I'm not very sophisticated when it comes to chips (crisps) Plain old Lays potato chips and Fritos corn chips saint_em Sep 7, 11, 9:41 am In the UK, another vote for the Salt & Balsamic Vinegar Kettle Chips, and the newish Walker's 'baked' salt n vinegar. I also like the 'Real' brand (our local pub sells them, most flavours go well with a pint!). In the US I like Lays bbq or honey bbq and the kettle cooked mesquite bbq ones. Here in the UK bbq crisps are very meaty, but the Lays ones taste more like bbq sauce. Tyrrel's vegetable crisps (parsnips/carrots/beetroot, etc) are nice but VERY greasy and cost a lot too. emma69 Sep 7, 11, 12:49 pm Lay's used to make a Spicy Indian Masala flavor. Everytime someone I knew went to Canada, I'd ask them to bring me back some. Ohh that reminds me of the Phileas Fogg Punjab Puri crisps - ohhh they were seriously good! My father was a huge fan, and there was often a bag on the go (he would have a small handful as a pre-dinner snack, often with a glass of wine or beer, but mother has curtailed his habit after some none too favourable cholesterol readings!) Can you still get them, I haven't seen them in years! brendog Sep 7, 11, 1:05 pm Zapp's Cajun Crawtators...yum! Kettle jalapeno are also really good. I could subsist solely off of Zapp's and Abita Amber. dchristiva Sep 7, 11, 2:17 pm Salt & Vinegar or Sea Salt. Any kind are fine with me. Tangentially, I recently discovered Snyder's Hot Buffalo Wing Pretzel Pieces and I am totally addicted. bkgourmet Sep 7, 11, 8:07 pm Canadian Ketchup flavor. i love these too!! an american company (herr's??) just came out with a ketchup flavor, but it's not even close to the canadian ketchup... I just had them the other week at Taco Bell.. bit light on the cinnamon, but certainly for the price of say $5.99, and getting the big box of goodies, I wasn't complaining.. Hit the spot.. It certainly isn't a problem in every restaurant. There is no reason a restaurant that is well managed should have any more insect problems than a home kitchen. You get bugs when food is left out, surfaces, floors etc are not cleaned of food debris, and things like walls are not maintained properly. Restaurants should be on top of those things anyway, regardless of insect problems. Ancien Maestro Sep 16, 11, 7:55 pm LOL. I wasn't my taco meat yet. I just walked out before ordering. Yeah, it was crawling over the meat that they keep in bowls that workers use to assemble the tacos. They always say there are at least ten roaches for every one you see. stut Sep 17, 11, 5:40 am These ones, of course! http://www.hiderfoods.co.uk/site-includes/images/products/250px/60254.jpg Actually, as well as the name, they are rather tasty, and do a very good parsnip crisp as well. The ones I quoted are made using the ingredients from Heinz so I guess they were the Offical crisps, but you do get crisps that have the name and are made to taste like the actual flavour. For example, in the UK we have crisps that are Vegetarian because they are made from ingredients that are not from meat. For example, you can eat "Steak and Onion"crisps if your veggie as it is made from chemicals made to taste like steak and onions but infact have no steak and onion in them!
