Hilton HHonors - 4000/2000 points for 4 stays in Qtr questions

It is my understanding 4 stays in qtr as silver gets 2000 bonus points.

4 stays in qtr as gold and diamond gets 4000 bonus points.

When do they post?

What happens if you split tiers for the stays.

For example, you have only 4 stays in a qtr. First 2 stays you're silver and (for what ever reason, promotion or earned) your staus becomes gold for last 2 stays.

Do you get 2000, 4000 bonus points or nothing?

Threshold bonus points post at the same time as the 4th stay during that quarter (or 8th, 12th, etc). Don't look for it under the "Hotel stays" though, it posts under "Other Activity" as "HHTHRESHOLD BONUS".

Looking at my own history, it shown me getting 4000 - i did 3 as silver and 1 as gold

On a related note, if I have 8 qualifying stays in the quarter, do I get two bonuses?

8 stays = 8000 miles in bonuses in my experience.

Yes, you get an additional threshold bonus for every 4 stays in a quarter (e.g., 12 stays in a single quarter generate 12,000 bonus points).

Thanks Mike.......I have emailed Hilton and about when the quarters run and they never returned the info....is it some kind of secret??

Do we get double threshold for the double stay promo this quarter?!
