Over the past 6 weeks, I have emailed hhonors 3 times about 2 missing stays and gotten no response other than the automated "email received" message. In the past they have been very good responding to emails. Anyone else notice that they ignore emails now?

Which e-mail address did you use?

Did you try flyertalk@hilton.com?

The folks at flyertalk@hilton.com have been extraordinarily responsive. I've submitted four missing stays in two separate emails in the last two weeks. Not only were the stays posted within 24 hours, but the first respondee audited my entire 2001 account and found 3 cases where I had not received double airline miles to which I was entitled. Adam Burke and his staff really understand how to creat customer goodwill.

I know what you mean about the hhilton response lately. It seems like no one is home since at least early December.

I prefer not to use the flyertalk email at first, in preference of normal channels. But the normal channels seem unattended.

Well, I sent an email to the FT address a week ago and again no response. What the hell is wrong with them?

Srodr, sorry to hear of your difficulties. My experience has been the exact opposite. I checked my account last week and saw that the online bonus had posted stays at the Homewood Suites, but not at the Hampton Inn. The stays were all the same week. I sent off an email, and received two emails and a phone call the next day. Very helpful in my opinion.

The online missing stay report functionality has always worked very well for me. I've used it only twice, but each time the credit posted within a few days. It is much easier than faxing or mailing a receipt as Marriott makes you do.

I email'd the European Service Centre on Monday about two missing stays. Received an email on Tuesday saying they were contacting the hotel. Checked my account today and the stays were posted. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

I find HHonors Customer Service to be very good. I normally contact Glasgow (European SC) but I have also contacted Dallas and I've never had any cause for complaint.

The Diamond Desk in Dallas even managed to get me a three night award stay in NYC at New Year at VERY short notice.

I will be spending New Year 2002-03 in Sydney so I called the Diamond Desk in Glasgow. Within 24 hours they had confirmed a 3 night award stay.

It's this type of service that has me making my 5th Hilton stay tonight since the beginning of the year.

I don't know Doc, maybe its me somehow. I've never had this problem with them before. I'll try again. Maybe 5th time is the charm!
