Hilton HHonors - HHV Ali'i tower question

Hi--got a good rate on the Ali'i Tower, so I have booked into there. I know they have a lounge, but its my impression from the website that there is no breakfast. Since I am already staying in a 'towers or lounge level' property, can I still (hope to) get the breakfast coupons?

We were there in November and were upgraded to Ali'i.

Everyone in the tower gets access to the lounge for pre-dinner munchies. As a result they are not especially outstanding. Cheese, some veggies, and usually 2 'hot' items. The bar area is full service with wait staff and a bartender. I received the impression that they really wanted to sell us some umbrella drinks in exchange for the munchies.

As gold, we were told we could have the lounge breakfast at no charge (there is a sign up which lists a breakfast price when you go into the lounge area) or we were allowed 1 breakfast coupon for the gold member good at 2 of the restaurants on the property. Since we both had Gold cards, upon presentation of them we received 2 coupons for each day of our stay. This is definitely the better option. The Rainbow Lanai restaurant just steps away from the Ali'i tower does a very nice buffet breakfast. Arrive early to avoid the lines.

Also, if you are booked into Ali'i you can go directly to that tower to check in and they will be more savvy on your options (in our experience) and usually a shorter wait.

What was the rate and where did you get it?

I am paying $245 for Ali'i tower garden room
this coming march from the Hilton.com site.

just booked today on website--garden view for $198--go change your ressie!!!
