Just checked out of the Hilton Tarrytown a few days ago, and a positive note is in order.
First, when making the reservation I had requested a pair of adjacent nonsmoking rooms with a connecting door, one room with a King and one w/ 2 Doubles. Based on my experience with hotels in general (not necessarily Hilton), I was prepared for some disappointment. Lo & behold, everything was as requested!
Second, without asking I was given breakfast coupons for my wife & I and our two children as well, for all three nights of our stay. Twelve coupons in all, and I didn't even have to ask for them! Not only that, but the breakfast buffet was very good...love those New York bagels.
The hotel itself is older, and a little rough around the edges, but our beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. Given the selection of hotels in Westchester Co., I will definitely stay there again.
