I know the press release said the Global Entry kiosks would be available in September at YUL. Has anyone been through customs or will be going through within the next few days. I am flying back to New York on 9/11 and am thinking there is the potential for extra long lines that day.

Not sure about YUL... But I have been on the lookout for them at YYZ, and they weren't there as of yesterday :( (out of curiosity, I'd like to try it instead of Nexus once)

I've just gone through US Customs at YUL (September 25th 2011) and unfortunately there weren't any Global Entry kiosks to be seen. When I asked, I was told that all kiosks are still NEXUS only.
The good news, though, it only took me 2 minutes to clear customs. If the wait was longer (15min +) I would have been totally PO'ed.
Same here as of of 10/27 ... Nexus only :( get my card in 1 week so no biggie, but was kind of hoping to try out my fingerprints today!

Went through YUL today, and no kiosk (just Nexus). Didn't bug me, there was literally zero line. Asked the very pleasant CBP agent about Global Entry, he sighed and said that "every other preclearance station has them except us," and that it was some sort of logistics issue with the airport.
He clarified, however, that if you have Global Entry, you can go through the Nexus lane, and just tell the monitor that you're GE, so you'll get to jump the line (although, of course, have to use an agent rather than the kiosk).
So, while no terminals, certainly >90% of the benefit...

Got a Global entry approval a month ago and used it for the first time at YUL. Nobody was using them so it was very quick. Got a receipt and walked up to the booth dedicated to global entry user. Customs officer took the receipt and also scanned a boarding pass to see if there is any checked bag. The whole process was very smooth and not confusing at all. 2 kiosks up against the wall near the end of the huge immigration hall. No sign but easy to locate them.
