Hey! I am pretty new to this site. Anybody can suggest a hotel deal for one night (09/01) in Chicago or vicinities? Seeing my parents off to Australia and want them to have a good rest before long flight, but wallet was tight. I also have like 3000 miles here and there, but I guess it is not enough to redeem for a hotel night. Certainly don't want any of those with bed bugs. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

There are any number of good hotels in the area near the airport which is what I assume you want. I stayed at the Hyatt Regency which I got for $75 on Priceline. Check biddingfortravel.com to see what recent bids have worked in that area then bid. That is how I got the Hyatt so cheap.

zhuzhugun,

we have a dedicated Chicago forum where the experts will most likely have more knowledge about the hotels around the airport, so I am moving the thread there.

Unles there is a major convention in the O'Hare area, you can get a very nice 4* hotel near the airport for usually less than $80 on Priceline. I suggest you go that route too.

Probably too late for you, but the Intercontinental O'hare, which is a lovely property, often dumps rooms in the $99 range. They do have an airport shuttle.
