Hello,
Having flown the A330 in Magnifica several times I'm hoping that the A330 is going to be offered on Ewr-Fconext August into September. I know it's early but does anyone know if this is possible?
Also, I've seen the Sticky on the 764 but how is the Magnifica service on the 764 compared to that on the A330?
Thanks!

FCO-EWR is usually operated by the 767, so it is possible that as these planes slowly go into phase-out an A330 will take up the route, however there can be no certainty until about March or so.

Service, as in the soft product, is the same. But the seats are not as comfortable.

Occasionally I have seen that the new A330's have operated on the route

Is the new A330 not scheduled to operate the EWR route in the winter season? At least I thought so when I booked my flight in Feb to EWR.

I just looked at the timetables and you're correct! It may be the 767 on this route will be one of the first to leave the fleet.
In this case it seems relatively likely that EWR will be operated by a new A330 in the summer season.

Sure hope so! However, when I look at Expertflyer for various dates in July it lists the 764 as the aircraft.
Also, going next month and it listed the A330 when I booked.

Still don't understand why they list 764 when they are 763.. Mystery of AZ!!!!!
Sure is a massive difference between 767 and A330 in J (and Y actually..)

According to the current timetables, the service will be operated by a new A330 every Tuesday until 27 September. After that date the Tuesday service will be stopped. On the other days, a 767 is operating the route, however from 16 October a new A330 is expected to take up the route. Note that during November it will be an old A330 on the route, and then in December a new one will take up the route again (temporarily 3xw only).
For the S12, there is no timetable yet, so systems simply show this year's timetables, in which the route was operated by a 767.

Can confirm that when EWR-FCO comes back in the spring/summer, it is with the new A330.

I just booked EWR-FCO in June/July and it's showing as a A330.
