What's the problem here? These are all optional additional add-ons to the basic fare structure, you don't have to choose them - there is no obligation.

The LHR lounge is really quite good, recently refurbished 100%. GBP 23.00 wouldn't be too bad at all for two hours in there for example.

Don't see the problem either. American Airlines charge $50 for the use of their "clubs".

So do they really come look for you after 2 hours??

Also,Recently had to cancel a family trip for 4 pax, bad enough having to forfeit the fare for 4 pax,but it is quite an insult to refund me only Euro 20.00/pax out of Euro 60.00.pax in taxes.

What a rip off? Euro 20.00 each way and per each pax in Booking ref. Surely it is things liike this that should be looked at by the authorities.

Why should they come looking for you as such?

I've seen flights announced at the LHR lounge before if that's what you are referring to. Two hours was a notional time period that I mentioned, as an example.

only wondering as Anna Livia lounge in Dub has that 2/3 hour stay thing and was wondering if EI had adopted the same rule. I was not referring to anyone coming to look for you with regard to flight status

Don't forget the 2 drinks maximum policy in Anna Livia :D Never seen that enforced either, well at least I have never been told to stay away from the gin :D
