Off to Vegas again for work in march, and will have 2 nights there. Would like to stay somewhere different and wanted thoughts on great rooms, atmosphere etc. Will be 18 of us in total.

Previously I've stayed at Paris, bellagio, Caesars, MGM and Venetian.

I would like to try trump but heard a little far out and no casino?

I have stayed at Trump and cannot recommend it. It is very much style over substance; removed from the Strip, no casino, and very awkward rooms. The ONLY units that were impressive were the 3 BR Penthouses.

I take it you have never visited Trump's casino properties in Atlantic City.

Those have NO style and NO substance. :p

I highly suggest the Comso. The terrace rooms facing the bellagio fountains are spectacular. I say it's better than the lakeview rooms at the bellagio.

Many many options:

If you want to be in the action:

9 rooms at the Mandarin Oriental for a luxury stay
9 rooms newly renovated rooms at Bellagio with lake view
9 Tower suites at Encore or Wynn

If you need more cost effectiveness, 9 rooms at Aria may work

All of these are Virtuoso so you would get the Virtuoso amenities.

If you want to have one large suite so the group can congregate you could do a 2 BR Salon Suite with 7 rooms at Wynn or Encore

If you have a blow-out budget, there is a 6 bedroom unit at the Mansion at MGM Grand which with roll-aways may be able accommodate your group. It would be a very memorable stay!!

There are fantasy suites at The Palms as well but again fairly pricey.
