Anyone here use Fitocracy (http://fitocracy.com)? Kinda a social exercise tool. You input your workouts and you earn points based on your activity. You gain levels and you can compare to friends also using it.

Did you have to use your email credentials to log in to the site? I'm not so cool with that. Edit: Nevermind it was just indicating that I should make-up a password. Wish that they were a little more clear about that. The sign-up page looked like it was asking me to enter my gmail credentials. It'sHip2B^2 Jan 12, 12, 6:23 pm Well, I clicked around a little bit and it looks like it's a decent way to track your activity. It also has a forum where you can post questions and get advice on workout routines and such. It looks a little like FT in that sense. If anyone is interested in joining (or coming back) we could start a Flyer Talk group since we tend to have more unique needs. annerj Jan 18, 12, 10:11 am How is it going? It'sHip2B^2 Jan 18, 12, 3:01 pm How is it going? It's not really going. I did schedule an evening workout but promptly got sick (actually sick not "sick"). But when I checked my email the next day I had a naggy email from Fitocracy telling me that it was time for my workout. And I've had 3 other naggy emails telling me to log my activities. So in that sense it's really putting on the guilt. It's kind of like my mother. I guess I'll have to log my last few workouts and see if they give me any positive reinforcement.... |
