Anyone here use Fitocracy (http://fitocracy.com)? Kinda a social exercise tool. You input your workouts and you earn points based on your activity. You gain levels and you can compare to friends also using it.

I use the Men's Health tool. First month was free and trying to decide if I want to keep it now.

I use dailymile. Similar concept, no points. Exercise meets social networking.

I just received my invite. Is anyone else using it yet? Any thoughts about joining or not?

I got the invite, logged in and spent about 60 seconds trying to figure out what to do. I gave up!

Or just a reflection of how much patience I had that day ;)

If you join and figure it out maybe you can give me a 45 second tutorial.

Did you have to use your email credentials to log in to the site? I'm not so cool with that.

Edit: Nevermind it was just indicating that I should make-up a password. Wish that they were a little more clear about that. The sign-up page looked like it was asking me to enter my gmail credentials.

Well, I clicked around a little bit and it looks like it's a decent way to track your activity. It also has a forum where you can post questions and get advice on workout routines and such. It looks a little like FT in that sense.

If anyone is interested in joining (or coming back) we could start a Flyer Talk group since we tend to have more unique needs.

How is it going?

How is it going?

It's not really going. I did schedule an evening workout but promptly got sick (actually sick not "sick"). But when I checked my email the next day I had a naggy email from Fitocracy telling me that it was time for my workout. And I've had 3 other naggy emails telling me to log my activities. So in that sense it's really putting on the guilt. It's kind of like my mother.

I guess I'll have to log my last few workouts and see if they give me any positive reinforcement....
