Florida - Driving from RSW to Captiva Island

Fingers crossed that I will be able to fly in from DCA to RSW on Saturday morning. If so, I'm looking for a couple of stops on my way to the FLA rental. One would be any recommendations for lunch along the way and another would be for a Walmart or someplace to stock up on supplies. Hopefully that could be combined with the lunch stop.

Theres a walmart at the corner of SR 865 and US 41 if thats any help.....It would be sorta on your way to captiva from the airport

That Walmart is definitely on your driving route to Sanibel/Captiva and a good choice to meet all your vacation needs. For lunch, there is a Bahama Breeze, across the street to the north.

If you want other options....there are 2 Publix Grocery Stores on your driving route....
One at Summerlin Rd/San Carlos Blvd
One on Summerlin Rd near Mcgregor Blvd. - this location would be the closest to your final destination, and is before you cross the Causeway to Sanibel/Captiva.
