California - Which hotel should I choose: San Diego Solamar or Indigo

Attending a conference at Convention Center upcoming, not like I'm on vacation or totally vegging out. But for the best deal, these two boutique hotels both look like they could work for me (single guy traveler)

anyone stayed at either lately to have a recommendation. Looks like Indigo has no pool or jacuzzi, other than that, major difference/comments?
