Hilton HHonors - Homewood Suites in Charlotte,N Tyron street.

Going there to see some of my friends. Has anyone been to this hotel? How are the services there?

The one over by the Coliseum is really nice and has free high speed internet access. Don't know about this one ...

MD80, The Homewood Suites that you are talking about is like an Apartment Like Hotel in the University area, I just drove by there couple of days ago. Personally, I don't like to stay at those kind of properties, i prefer highrise style properties.

I stayed there about a year ago. From what I remember the accomodations were somewhat "worn" from the use and abuse of being close to the University. The breakfast and manager's reception food selections were pretty good though. I generally enjoy staying in Homewood Suites properties. My personal favorite is the one in Clearwater, FL on Ulmerton Road.
