I know many here wax poetically about the majestic biscoffs, but I thought another lighthearted topic should be adressed here: With the HOOUs around (there are only so many woodford/rocks I can drink), the decision becomes which snack box to get. In spite of being less expensive, I think the Travel Treats wins hands down, but am curious as to what others think.

Of the two snack boxes, I actually prefer Flight Delights.

But for the last month or so I've been cashing in my HOOU on the pack of chewing gum.

I'm a flight delights man myself. It's a little more expensive, but the box is actually priced reasonably and it has great selection.

Travel Treats, as a Skybonus Y and Amex companion flyer this year, I have had more than my share of the DL Salami.

Travel treats with red wine. Pretty good combination! ^^

Due to my current travel schedule, there is only one flight I take that's on a regional jet with no first class to be upgraded to and it isn't long enough for them to have the premium snacks. My choice is always use the HOOU for some alcohol or throw it out. I typically choose a bloody mary. :)

Back when I was on a regional jet that sometimes had the boxes (it was unpredictable), I got the Flight Delights, I think. I recall the contents changing periodically, but I seem to remember there being crackers, cheese, salami, dried fruit, cookies, and nuts.

I think the other one had tuna and that grossed me out thinking of anybody eating tuna on a plane.

Whichever one has the salami, cheese, Toblerone, etc...

Depends what you like, I guess, but honestly neither one of them particularly interests me. Most of the time, if it's available, I get the kid meal -- a half a PB&J, apple slices, some grapes, carrots, and celery. Makes a nicer snack than the prepackaged stuff, I think.

Are you able to get the kids meal with the HOOU?

If I am trying to make a "meal" out of it, it is the Flight Delights box. However, I do like the hummus and pita chips in the Travel Treats box. So, it really depends on the mood.

Technically, no, they can only be used for the nonperishable snacks, not for fresh offerings. But sometimes the FAs will let you do it anyway.

Just a cup of coffee and a Biscoff for me please. Would rather eat when I get there....
