Gaming Loyalty Programs - AmEx Gift Cards in Casinos

Figured this would be a better forum than the AmEx for this particular question. I have a number of AmEx gift cards that I've received over the past couple of years. Am I able to cash these in any Vegas casinos into either a deposit account or for credit to be able to play?

Even though it says "no casinos", my guess this restriction applies to gambling(?), would they be valid at restaurants and other shops located in a casino?

Most likely, yes. "In casinos" probably just refers to cash advance machines.
