TTBHG Aug 15, 11, 1:27 pm I agree that casinos got wise to those tricks. I don't know of any way to get anything from the casinos outside of gambling a decent sum of money. baccarat_king Aug 15, 11, 2:53 pm are there any tricks left? Programs such as CET DIAD (Diamond in a Day), playing low house edge full-pay video poker. Then, you can use your CET Diamond Status to status match to Grazie Gold, Cosmo Identity (Platinum, I think, if they are still doing it), Borgata Black Label, Golden Nugget (Atlantic City only, as far as I know). But, perhaps, the bigger question is, what are you looking to attain/accomplish? Unlike airline and hotel programs, status is not necessarily "king" with regard to casino loyalty programs. Most important, your actual rating (theo) with a casino property. That's what (in almost all cases) will determine your rooms/suites, offers, tournaments, cash-incentive, free-play etc. etc. Being diamond with a low value (theo) to a casino, is not going to get you a heck of a lot, going forward. Though, CET does have the most 'low-roller' perks such as line cuts, taxi line cuts, and reasonable (and plentiful) room offers. DavenM Jan 9, 12, 10:27 pm Ya, I think a lot of it is all measured by the Players Club. How much money is going through the card, if you're on a machine it is easy to track, but on the tables it is a little more difficult for them to keep track of how much money you are actually playing. More like table time. |
